Career:
Floyd the Barber is a DJ and producer who works in styles such as oldschool & new breakbeat, Big Beat, Electro Rock, Industrial, Downtempo and Trip Hop.
He started to create music in 2001, with the influence of punk rock, nu metal, and alternative bands of the 90s, with mostly instrumental works (drums) with less electronics. He played in some Russian and Ukrainian bands, and 10 years later got involved in electronic music.
In 2010 he started to work as a DJ mixing old school Breakbeat from post-soviet producers who put out free tracks. Style that everybody had forgotten about, began to resurrect with the help of unknown musicians who became a little family-after 4 years he became a resident/DJ of CTR, and main editor of internet based Criminal Tribe Radio.
Floyd has over 50 published mixes, live shows, several released tracks and remixes and his own radio show – “Breakbeat Shop”, with brand new breakbeat inside.
In March 2018, Floyd supported The Prodigy’s live performance at CSP Express in Rostov-On-Don.
